Which element a URL’s #fragment points to, and how that influences the CSS :target selector and the results of querySelector. Using the HTML and Selectors specifications as guides, we follow Omoikane’s implementation and tests.
We identified pathways from the internal host function visible on the Omoikane page that could reach DOM, cookies, or storage of a different origin. This covers bootstrap isolation, origin verification on the Rust side, and related processing and testing.
What aspects of an iframe are isolated by a JavaScript Realm? This outlines the boundaries that became apparent while implementing the child Document’s execution environment, WindowProxy, navigation, and asynchronous processing in Omoikane.
In my custom browser Omoikane, I implemented features such as integration between document.cookie and HTTP communication, the Page Visibility API, event listeners, and CSS Scroll Snap. I summarized the process of connecting these APIs to the DOM, network, and the host’s state.
In my custom browser Omoikane, I've corrected the default 8 px margin on the <body>, implemented declarative Shadow DOM, and fixed Unicode character direction for vertical text. These seemingly minor web‑compatibility issues actually affect the cascade, the HTML parser, and the rendering pipeline.
I added Pointer Lock and ElementInternals to my custom browser, Omoikane. This summarizes fixes for X11 input duplication, iframe realms, form state restoration, performance degradation caused by unnecessary DOM traversal, and a garbage‑collection reference leak in Boa’s Array.from in the Rust‑based JavaScript engine, along with the necessary corrections.
I have added the Fullscreen API and TextEncoderStream/TextDecoderStream to my custom browser, Omoikane. I will address synchronization between the top layer and the native window, chunk boundaries, backpressure, decoder state that spans garbage collection, and the remaining issues identified in Web Platform Tests.
Added the HTML Popover API to the custom browser Omoikane, integrating it with DOM state, the top layer, backdrop, focus, light dismiss, as well as input and rendering.
In my custom browser Omoikane, I have advanced the implementation of HTML fragment parsing, form validation, web fonts, CSS cascading, and layout and rendering accuracy.
