I came from Hokkaido to Tokyo yesterday. Today I’m going to Kasukabe.
Although first thing this morning I was still looking at an Otaru sightseeing map and wondering where to go next.
More stamps in Kasukabe
After the Otaru town stamp rally, I collected stamps in Kasukabe too. That completed the intercity Otaru–Kasukabe rally.
At Tanaka Hat Shop I took photos with the Rikka and Tsumugi panels. Karin came along too.
Other people had come for the stamps too. I admired their dedication in traveling all the way to Kasukabe. Of course, I had done the same thing.
Waiting at Haneda
After finishing my errand, I went back to Haneda Airport. First, a glass of wine.
I had time until around five, so I worked on a video while I waited.
Students returning from a school trip to Otaru were on my Takamatsu flight. Seeing them excited on the plane reminded me of my own school trip.
Then it was time to board. The trip was ending.
Back to Takamatsu
We flew somewhere north of the Izu Peninsula.
Then there were clouds everywhere. As we descended, the sky beyond them turned orange.
Rounded mountains came into view. I was back in Kagawa. They look a bit like a normal distribution.
I got home safely after eight.
The Lakiston sweets I bought at Tsukushi Makita were delicious the next day. I admired them for a day and wanted to keep them, but they were sweets after all.
My parents asked, “Have you lost weight? Were you eating properly?” I ate and drank every day in Hokkaido…
And with that, the trip is over. I already want to go back to Otaru.
