I moved from Otaru to Chitose yesterday, and by morning I already wanted to go back.
Breakfast at the airport
I planned to eat at New Chitose Airport, but it was too early and nothing appealed to me.
While wandering around, I found Teto on the piapro wall.
In the end, breakfast was ramen with butter and corn.
As I ate, the time to leave Hokkaido crept closer.
One last impulse buy: soft-serve ice cream.
Is Tokyo always this hot?
I flew to Tokyo. Is Tokyo always this hot?
Next year, maybe I could do the whole Otaru stamp rally on foot, run the Otaru Canal Road Race, and then run the 100 km Lake Saroma race to stretch out my Hokkaido stay. If I casually said, “I’m off to run Saroma 100 km,” people would probably think I’m odd again.
By evening I was already thinking, I need to go home to Otaru. How did the others who left earlier manage to wait even until the weekend?
I had yogurt that night with Karin and Teto.
An earthquake warning came through that evening and startled me.
I’m going to Kasukabe tomorrow, so time for bed.
