It had been warm until yesterday, but this morning it was suddenly 13°C. Today I’m leaving Hokkaido.
I went back to Otaru after the marathon yesterday. This morning I headed to New Chitose Airport.
Beer for breakfast.
And ramen.
I ordered another beer and some gyoza. A productive morning.
Saying hello to Miku
Before leaving, I went to see Miku at the airport. Thank you again. I hope to be back soon.
In the lounge I had Super Nikka with water.
I bought a soft-serve ice cream too.
One more drink before boarding: Sapporo Classic.
I boarded the plane. I wanted to go to Otaru, but today I was flying the other way.
Changing planes at Haneda
At Haneda I saw the gate for a flight to Sapporo and wondered if I could get on that one instead.
I waited for my connection, with another beer.
I’d like to see the Sapporo Snow Festival next time.
From the plane home I could see city lights below, probably somewhere around Osaka.
Over this three-night, four-day Hokkaido trip, I walked about 90 km including the marathon. When I weighed myself at home, I’d lost about 2 kg. Despite all the eating and drinking…
Back to running tomorrow.
I’ve already booked a winter flight to Hokkaido. Next time in Otaru, I want to visit Ishi to Tetsu too.
I want to go back to Otaru.
