I traveled to Hokkaido yesterday. Today I’m exploring Otaru for the first time, with Teto and Karin along for the ride.
Starting the stamp rally
I picked up the booklet for the Otaru town stamp rally. Karin and I set off around town.
The shops have panels of Karin, Rikka, and Chifuyu.
At Megane no Takada I tried to make a heart with Chifuyu, but…
With Rikka, I ended up with this pose instead.
I found Karin too. This time I managed to make the heart.
The distillery in Yoichi
At midday I went to Yoichi and toured the distillery. I had pasta and soup for lunch.
I had a drink in the evening, though I still had to drive, so it was nonalcoholic.
Mount Tengu at night
Back in Otaru, I went to see Karin at Mount Tengu. The tengu costume suits her.
From the observatory, Otaru’s lights stretched all the way to the sea.
I also stopped at Asahi Observatory.
Teto and I looked out over the city from there too, and that was the end of today’s wandering.
